was riding in McCall last winter and seized the motor. lifted the hood and noticed it hardly used any oil after 46 miles into this ride. towed it back and now tearing it down and found that the clutch side jug and piston are shot the magneto side looks good but some scoring on the piston and bottom of jug. I have bought new jugs and pistons but need some guidance in how to fix this problem. sled only had 935miles on it and have no mods.

I agree with Slash, sounds like the oil pump failed or you have air in the line preventing flow.

Mix your fuel 40:1 with polaris blue. Once you get everything back together and bleed the pump leave the clutch off and pull the oil line off the pto side. See if you have oil flowing at idle. You also need to hold the pump lever all the way open as you first start it to get the air out of the lines. You do this until there are no more bubbles passing threw the lines.never seen a pump go out. Maybe a filter plugged or bad cap vent. Your pump is most likely fine.
