09 509 goggles?

Have a One Ind. helmet and the 509's fit fine even w/nose piece on.
To those of you that put quick straps on, I bought the quickstraps from 509 with my set, but they didnt come with the stick on mounting gear for my helmet. Do I need to buy the quick strap hardware than use the straps they sent me? Hope that makes sense haha
Yes you do.
Don't work with my HJC or GMAX I use them for quadin' now, don't care if the don't seal in the summer.
Yep, I was duped also. When I bought my Smith goggles with the quick straps, they actually came complete.
I still haven't used the 509's that I bought because of it. The 509 straps are NOT quick straps, just a half strap that still requires you to buy quick straps.
Does anyone have the ABC's of goggles? Nothing can ruin a good day sledding like fogged up goggles.

Duped? I don't know how I can be more clear, we do not sell Quick Strap kits. We sell short straps that are compatible with your existing quick strap hardware. Here is the direct quote off our store page...
For people who use the traditional Quick Strap style straps, these compatible straps are what you need. Because our straps are permanently attached to our hinge system, you can not remove the strap to install Quick Straps as you traditionally would on other goggles. To fix this, we have developed these short, cut to length, open ended compatible straps. They allow you to continue using the Quick Strap setup with our straps and hinge system.
How They Work
First, let's be clear, we are not selling the actual Quick Strap brand hardware. These are ONLY the compatible short straps. You will still need to have the Quick Strap brand buckles and kit. The kit is available at your local dealer for $10-$15.
- To install our compatible short straps, first remove the lens in your 509 goggles.
- Fully open the hinge and squeeze the goggle frame together to release the hinge from the frame. Do this on both sides to fully remove the full strap.
- Place & install the short strap hinges into the goggle frame. RE-Install the lens (here is a tutorial showing how to install the lens)
- Take your existing quick strap hardware and remove the straps they came with. Weave the open end of our short straps into your Quick Strap buckle hardware.
I'll say it again, I was duped. Call it ignorance on my part, I didn't read every single page on your site. I simply went to the order page and ordered the goggles and the straps. I should have read the fine print. Yes, I feel duped. I just want to make sure that others don't make the same mistake that I did. When I bought my Smith goggles with quick straps, they were complete, I was ignorant to the fact that I'd have to spend even more money to use the goggles as I had intended, excuse me.
