09 509 goggles?

so i just recieved my 09 509 goggles, nice set up but they don't fit worht a damn in my 661 helmet. was wondering what everyone uses for a helmet with these googles?

a friend of mine just got some 509 he was disapointed as he can't put quick straps on them

never tried qs but i don't think i would like them. standard straps is cool with me. what type of helmet does he run?

You can run quick straps on them! lots of other threads with pic's!

I'm running them with a HJC CLX5 Royal and they fit great.

im running them with quick straps on my elcheapo MSR helmet. a bit tight getting them in there but once there on the fit great and work sweet.

you buy the quick straps from 509 for 15. iwas told they don't fit good in a klim f4 either. i have a fly and seem to be pretty snug in it

Have the new 09 509's with a Klim helmet and QS, they fit great.

Which sixsixone helmet are you using? I wore mine with the flight logo and warp helmet and the fit could not have been better! I also wear them with the Fly Reniassance like blue du has and they work awesome with that as well?

i have a 661 flight from a couple years ago. i also want to be able to use the nose piece on it. i had to modify the one on my scotts to fit in the 661. but no matter what the 509's don't fit in my 661. i like the flys but it looks like i will have a similar problem if i try to use the nose piece. i'm going to have to find a dealer around me and go try some out.

I am able to use the nosepiece with both the 661 and fly helmet. When you put the goggles on, you have to angle the nose piece down into the helmet first and once you have them on, the fit is perfect but maybe I misunderstand you.

I just got my 09 509 Sisnisters. I use the Quik Straps no problem and I'm wearing a Zox Ryan Design Helmet. Goggles fit perfectly in the helmet. With the nose piece it takes a second and requires both hands to fit goggles into helmet opening but well worth the effort. Every helmet is designed differently. Virtually no cold air got to my face with no windshield. I also wear a balaclava.

I wear mine with klim f4 and even with the nose piece they fit great just have to tip them down to get them in but all in all great combo

I just bought a pair but haven't got to use them yet or even try them on with my helmet. Should use them sometime with in the next couple days, I will post back with my thoughts.

They fit perfect in my HJC CL-X5. No exposed skin anywhere. I have worn them 5 times...mostly on subzero days. The new oversized foam and nose piece really helped with the overall fit. Nice job Tom!

they don't fit anywhere, huge gaps in the corners. maybe they changed the 661's but mine are in no way going to work with those goggles.
