09 163 xp track into 04 151 rev

yup...parts list-

8 tooth 2.86 drivers from rev 440 race sled
162 skid or rails
tunnel extension
stiffer rear springs/shocks upgraded
stock gearing is OK or go up to a 20 top
new clutching

I was thinking of replacing my 09 163 track with a camo extreme. then maybe putting my old track on my buddy 04 151 rev. It sounds like a lot of work and money. what would be better or cheaper to get to get more track under the 04 rev? sorry, i should of said what i was thinking of doing.

Well if you stick with a 2.52 pitch track that will save you changing drivers (although changing tracks period is a big job because you have to remove jackshaft, chain, driveshaft, etc). My 04 Rev was a 151 but the previous owner swapped in a 156 camo by bolting on track extensions. He never did a tunnel extension and I've had no problems with clearance.

did the previous owner say how much better it was between the two tracks? is the 156 camo a 16 wide with what lugs
