09/10 Pine Pass Conditions

Got a skiff in John today and it"s still tryin'. Anyone been thru the pass today? Winter is on it's way!!!!

yeh i if you take a look at PK website appearently they are letting it open to sledders now.... still dont know if i am going to park there or not...

WOW PK's guidelines make me feel like a criminal if I even stick to there trails. I think they can have that side of the highway I'll stick to the otherside.

Powderkign reports they are getting snow!!!! nice should be too much longer then i can get the new sled broke in.

buddy went thru the pass on the weekend and said there was snow halfway down the ski hill woo hoo

In my best Homer Simpson voice....mmmmm, snowwww. I heard a rumor that the Beaver Creek/Murray area has been closed to sleds starting this winter. Does anyone have the 411 on that. I can find maps that show the closures for the Caribou Recovery Plan for the rest of the province but no info on the Pass.

went through the pass last friday, top 2/3rds on the murry side is snow lookin across the lake.

I head here that there have been people snowboarding on the hill already if they hike up there.... from a secondary source so whon knows... it shouldn't be long!!!!

Drove thru the pass this afternoon and there isn't much snow. Nothing at the hiway. Nothing up to the powerlines and only a very light dusting on the shaded parts of the runs above it. No snow on the opposites except on the very tops and again just a light dusting. We are a ways from tearing it up yet folks.

If were getting snow this early in the season hopefully thats some kind of indication of what we are in for.

I heard on the radio this morning that PK may be open as early as halloween weekend!!!! are they getting snow they are not telling us about???

i Wouldn't Put it past them to not tell us about snow but the weather station doesn't say much about the snow situtation and there is no snow showing at the road yet.... Lame but it is coming i have faith in it that it will dump soon...

Just checked the hiway cam PK looks like they're finally getting some of that beautiful white stuff now. We can only pray it doesnt stop till june
