Ok so our first decent pow weekend phenominal snow and my sled would not run at all. Ran fine on the trail but as soon as i would get off into some powder it would bog. if i would get off and wipe of the intake it would be fine for a while until it got more snow on it. It has never done this before and this was the first powder ride on the new motor. Any Ideas? Thanks
Do you have any air vents on your sled? Getting air under your hood and in your air box is a big key. There are a few simple and inexpensive ways to fix this....
The only thing I have found is to get some air with vents and also put a vent on your air box. This will keep air going through your box even when your filter is clogged off in deep pow. I also cut a hole in the rear of the air box and that keeps air flow in the deep. The vent between your gauges and windshield/with an air box vent will keep that air flow........ About $95 for the intake and two airbox vents... You'll run crisp..
You can get the material from Home Depot or Lowes to make your own vents and save $. If you cut a hole in the back cover it...LOL.. forgot to mention that in my last thread..
