08 Nytro MTX Whats it worth?

08 nytro mtx. 350 miles. Tunnel is kinked and cracked just in front of where extension mounts. Can still be ridden But realistically should be fixed. I think the guy who had it took the insurance money and said screw it. Parts alone would be $3000.

Not that I would fix it with stock parts but the place selling it does not know that.


What is realistic? I was thinking about $5000.

What do you guys think?

buy it for $5000 put a aftermarket tunnel on it and still be way $$$ ahead.

I'd talk a lot of trash with how the resale value on something that has been damaged that bad will be, kinda like buying a car after a crash (who would want that?)....kick it around and get a feel for how bad they want to sell it....I'd offer them $4500 and see what they say. Chances are people aren't going to be beating down the door to buy a fixer upper. You'll know how much room they have to work with after that. You see several "perfect" 08 MTX's for mid $6k's....

I would think that $4K would be a fair offer, but would certainly check it out thoroughly to make certain of the damage.
