08 iq 700 running badly

I got a 08 iq 700 this past fall and rode it a few times here in Illinois and it ran fine. Went to the UP of Michigan and it ran fine for a day and a half and then it started running funny. Would bog badly at almost any rpm, especially at lower rpms and was getting about 5 or 6 mpg compared to 10 to 12. Rpms were down and top speed was down. It sat overnight and ran fine the next morning for about 20 minutes then started again. New plugs didn't help, power valve cleaning didn't help. Dealer said it was prolly the fuel filter. Got it back home and took out injectors and fuel filter, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Put it back together and again it ran fine for 20 minutes and started screwing up. No codes on the display. Seems like a combination of engine temp and a period of higher rpms sets it off. Thinking egt sensor but would like a second opinion before I spend $120 on a new one. Sled had 2000 miles on it when I got it, now had 2500. Any one got any ideas? THANKS

You might try quick compresion check,And pull plugs look at tops of pistons.
I would also pull my y pipe and look at both sides, of both cylinders and and pistons. then check exhaust valves, work my out from there.
good luck...
