08 Dragon Suspension

08 Dragon 163 WE shocks, stock torsion springs. 200lbs w/ gear

I have done a bunch of searching and it seems like everyone's solution has been to go with the big boy springs and problem solved. My problem is different. I always had my adjustment block in the middle and never needed the stiffest setting, I took my shocks into the stealership and first time I ran the sled I was bottoming out all over the place. Cranked up the block to the highest setting and still bottoming out. Brought the skid shocks back in and they said they were fine(I don't think anyone actually looked at them).

So my question is do you think that the front shock is not working properly?

Should I send them to WE to get rebuilt or just buy Fox zero pros for the rear?

08 iq shocks

i would buy the z-bros, i had the stock shocks then went to the fox shocks , then went to the z-bros , the fox shocks are good but for alittle more money you can have the best, talk to curt at fastrax 253-848-0908 , he will help you get the right springs and shocks for your weight and riding style:wave:

I would say it's your suspension springs sacked out after 4 seasons of use, not the shocks. You don't have to put rock hard .405's on the rear of your sled. I changed out my rear suspension this season with .375/47 degree, and swapped out the front skid air shock to a WE coil over with dual rate spring from TCP. I also replaced the rear shock with a WE clicker. I run the preload adjuster on the middle setting and rarely bottom out, while having a smooth ride. Zero Pro's are also a great replacement shock that are durable as heck. Carls can set them up anyway you like.
