08 Dragon electrical issues

I got my Dragon back from the dealer after the third and I hope final rebuild and it runs fine but after about an hour of riding I lose all electrical functions, lights, hand warmers and gauges. The sled still runs and after it sits overnight the next time I start it up everything is up and working again for about an hour.

Any thoughts on the problem and can anything on the sled be damaged by running it this way?

Check the ground bolt next to the ECM and voltage reg. If tight, better take it back to the dealer. Regulators have failed and cooked the ECM. Also been some rubbed wires showing up. Inspect them carefully where they come out of the ECM cover next to the fuel filter.

Check your stator. typically stators just die....but I have had a case once where a winding would open only after a certain amount of heat was built up...once cooled would work fine. Ohm out the stator and go from there.
