I'm am concerned about your beer comment....some things just aren't worth the sacrefice!@

I am kicking around some ideas of how to lighten up my 155 d8.

So far these are the mods I have done.

-SLP single and can
-TCP bumper (doesn't shed any weight)
-scratchers (doesn't shed weight but my remove boggie wheels)
-remove all foam from under hood areas (helps with soakage)
-venting (doesn't really shed any weight)
-Carls clutching
-SLP air horn kit
-19/42 gearing

Things I am thinking about:
-Holz Rear Coil Over
-Can you lose the front cooler???????
-Remove boggie wheels

At this point, I don't think I want to invest anymore than another $1,500 this year.

Looking for both extremely cheep options also.

Any advice?

am in the same boat....got everything on your list except the bumper already..was planning a couple minor things for this winter...but nope that wouldnt work..so now I have the polaris 09 frt end kit coming(nose,bumper and swaybar),vf reeds, holz rear skid with floats, frt float2's as well, and just ordered some minor stuff from justin(snowjw).....might as well spend some money guys..cant take it with you and what better place can ya spend it then on your favorite funtime....

Misery loves company man. Doc says my liver is processing fat out of my body so fast that iIdon't dare have a beer for atleast a year, any alcohol at all is just piling on an already stressed liver.

Thanks for the encouragement AK. I was really making it sound worse than it is. I really haven't drank much for 15 years or so. Now the Oreo's and milk before bed, thats a whole nother thing. I leave a bag in the cupboard just to remind me that I am in charge. I follow the 12 steps and twice a week I get up in front of the group and start out with "Hi, I'm EricW and I like the chit out of Oreo's". So far so good.
