First of all let me say that this sled rocks and have no complaints so far. It is a 154X. I put on about 150 miles this past weekend in Cooke and really like the sled. We got to town late Thursday afternoon and rode for a couple of hours that day. The next morning when I went out to start the sled it sounded like a mod after it started. I just thought that the can (HPS) really opened up after the engine cooled down. Well after a little investigating I noticed all of the Y pipe bolts loose and two were even missing. I got that issue resolved and headed up the hill. We rode hard and I checked the bolts. They were tight but I noticed oil coming out of the weep hole on the bottom of the Rave Valve Cover. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing since it makes a mess in the engine compartment. Let me add that I had no blown belts after some very hard and long pulls all weekend. I did notice a loose cord from time to time but nothing a side cutter didn't take care of. Please note that I rode with three Cats (2 M1000's and an M8.) There were more signs of belt wear on the Cats than on my XP. Such as 1 blown belt and the other two had frayed cords hanging on the hood and side panels in the engine compartment. This sled climbs like a billy goat on steroids and is a blast to ride. Cheers, Rick.
