Check wires to the TPS, Then check the setting on the TPS, Fuel filter, check wires out of the ecu make sure they are not rubbing on any thing, there are many thing that can make it not run at an idle. Is the throttle lever set right? there is a switch in there so when the throttle cable brakes it will not run. if this is not set right it will not idle.
Does it just die? does it just run ruff?

runs real rough and ideals so low that the display doesnt show it will die if you let sit for a little while, started idealing slow last trip out west in march but is way worse now, I was thinking it is in the tps or also heard something about cracked trottle boots:face-icon-small-con

X2 on both of that also check the voltage regulator too I think there is a thread on this and how to check it. if it goes bad it Can screw up the ECU.

Sounds to me like a 99% chance your TPS is out of adjustment. A friends 800 was doing the exact same thing a couple seasons ago, bad idle and the display would die but otherwise ran alright above idle... TPS had been knocked out of adjustment.

The way these things are designed, the chassis power relay will close and power up the display and lights above a certain stator output usually around 1100 RPM... below that there is not enough power to have everything turned on and the relay will open killing power to the accessories... once the idle is raised and the stator kicks out more power, the relay closes and you have full power.

I've had a couple of those sleds and I'll bet it is the TPS. For some reason, the TPS on those sleds come out of adjustment fairly easily. You can take it to a dealer for a quick adjustment or research the link below and do it yourself.
