08 700 RMK BURNDOWN...EVERYONE CHECK THIS PART!

Does anyone know the upgraded part number? Is it the 1203864 part number shown above? Thanks.

Yes that is the updated part number, the parts guy said it is very common on the 600s dent happen as often on the 700s or 800s but he said it is a very common problem!

Edit: 6,7,8 I believe all have different part numbers the one shown is for the 700

maybe that is whats wrong with my 700D. It will run fine wide open but miss fires at 5700-6800 and for off idle to middle throttle. If u punch it from middle throttle it falls on its face. And it will studder on the trail at 5700-6800 like a old sled with a plugged jet. Runs fine when it is cold after a 5-10 min idle comming off the trailer and about a 10 min. trail ride to where we are going and then it will start to act up. I live in low elevations (1000-2500) and only ride the sled in high elevations (8000-10000). It maybe something else but it wrecks a good trip that you wait a hole year for.
Any ideas?

Sounds like it's LEAN in the mid-range.

My 07D7 was.

Fixed it with a PC-3 and RICHENED it up approx 7% or so

How do you do the pc-3 or get it

DYNOTECH Jim has them with the proper mapping for the D7's

or e-mail him at

Kraven, I'm not sure Ryan knows what a PC-III is. Ryan, A PC-III or PC-V are Power Commander's made by Dynojet Research. They are fuel controller's that plug in-line with your stock fuel injection system that allow you to add and subtract fuel throughout your throttle positions. The 700's are famous for having a mid-range lean spot and rich top end. Dynotech Jim can preload a custom map set up for your engine.

Well there is one more part to check be for the first ride. I know they had a recall on the 05 and 06 600 rmk's due to the carb boots. My brother loss a motor on his 06 and got it replaced free due to the recall. Does anyone know if there was a recall for the newer 6,7,8's ?
