08 600 RMK speedo maxed sitting still

Just wondering if anyone out there has had there iq speedo jump around sitting still, mine goes to 225kph when its idling and bounces everywhere when it`s being rode. This makes for alot of miles fast for nothing. If so was it a wiring issue, dash, I can`t see it being a sensor since its not moving. Any input would be appreciated.

My son's '11 RMK was doing the same thing, changed the sensor on the housing below the driven clutch and that solved it....

Try cleaning the sensor

I have heard even just cleaning the sensor will fix it. I personally have no personal experience with it yet, knock on wood.

Did some more testing and it does seem to be the sensor, good to hear someone else had the same problem, and the fix.
