07 XRS Poss' D.E.S.S prob

My 07 XRS runs but has no tach or headlights and doesn't run properly(poor performance). Anybody dealt with this and does anyone know if I can just bypas the DESS and run a regular tether?

It's the electrical relay zip-tied above the secondary clutch. NAPA #AR201 is cheaper than from Doo.
You cannot bypass the tether.

Obviously Winter Brew knows his Ski-Doo's! The relay worked. All the instruments are back, lights are on, and it runs great. You saved me a bundle and a whole lot of hassle. Can't thank you enough. Kris

My xrs is running poorly also same prob but my raves are not working B.U.D.S. says that everything is shorted to ground.

You possibly have a wiring problem, chafed to the frame structure. Bad rave solenoid possibly.

yeah I have tested the solenoid its good, going to swap out the harness, if I jump the solenoid with twelve volts the sled runs great also my gauge dose not work and I am tired of going through wires.

It was the relay.
