07 XRS Clutch update working!

I have about 200 miles on the update and my sled is running better than it ever has. Been riding at Togawatee and holding R's solid at 10K feet.

Clicker 5, but at least it ain't 6.

This is the performance I have been waiting for from this sled.

Just put a new Powdermax track under it, can't wait to test it out.

We are finally getting some snow around the house so that 2 1/2 hour drive to ride will be like 5 min. (like it should be).

How is everyone else doing with the new clutch parts.

You'l love the new track, night/day improvement! My TRA7 is working flawlessly, I know of NONE with issues after the updates.

Track change

Yea I found a brand new 07 skidoo track, paid $700. The Camo was gonna be $640 but the doo track is clipped on every other window and it's ported from the factory so I think it's worth the extra $60.

Should reduce my frustration factor. Can't wait to climb instead of digging a trench to China.

my new 07 adr 151 had the new update when i picked it up and it ran great for about 40 miles then rpm's continued to drop until 130 miles when the rpm's wouldn't get above 5800. brought it into the dealer and a circlip had fallen off the bushing in the primary and caused mass damage. they replaced the primary completly and now after some miles the sled RIPS. i'm stoked:D

I am not trying to be negative, but mine is still a belt eater after all updates. I am currently waiting for parts for a complete primary, minus fixed half. I hope that helps it out. Glad to hear updates are helping for everyone else though. Merry Christmas!

What is the update exactly??????? Sounds like the 07 and the 08 doo share something in common..........

Powder report

Had mine out in some deep (2 feet) fluff today, man too much fun.

The new track and the clutch actually working was like a new sled.

The best money spent on a XRS is a new track, too bad I had to buy a new track though.

The worst part of the day was running over my buddy's polaris, yea I really ran over it (he was stuck, I was going to help, got a little off line). Took out his gas tank (the filler part) and the seat, and a few other misc. plastic parts.

The poo's are good for traction, must have got 10 feet of air.

Gonna cost me money but it was priceless.

This has probably been beat to death but I'm asking anyways LOL

Had my 07 X 159 out at a little higher elevation/deeper snow today and was only getting 7900 in clicker 3....am I giving up anything by running in 4 or 5 to get proper RPM? Is it more ideal to drop weight, or just change the clicker and ride it?

Just change your clicker, that's what it is for. ;)

Good...I thought I remembered reading that above 3 you're losing efficiency or something, but if it works I'm not gonna argue.

I was getting 8400 RPM on 5 with my 07 REV. NOT familiar with these machines as it is new to me, first REV. Should I set it to 4 for the Valemount area, gotta buy a set of the Quick Clickers too. :face-icon-small-hap

I purposely set up to run on clicker 5 whenever possible. IMO that is the "sweet spot" on the 800R with the stock ramp profile. ALso alows you to run more primary weight and regain the low speed throttle response.
