I just got the sled and I weigh 140 and its set up for 200. how do you soften it up some?

The ski shocks have #'s on them. Just turn the spring to a lower # and it will lessen the spring pressure making it softer. The front shock in the rear skid is not numbered, but same thing. Just turn the spring to lessen spring pressure ( righty tighty- lefty loosey ). Lay the sled on its side to adjust this shock. It takes the pressure off the shock and makes turning the spring easier. Rear suspension is adjusted with the torsion spring blocks. If you look at them you will see there are 4 settings. The block has different distances from the center to the face the spring rides on. The smaller the distance the softer the springs. Always turn the block clockwise. There should be a tool in the tool kit for this. It is one end of the spark plug wrench. Just remember these adjustments will affect steering.

you can also adjust the compression/rebound dampening on the front shocks....the rear shock too if i remember right...at the top of the shock there a dial that you can adjust with a flat blade screwdriver...

The adjustment is down by the spindle.
