07 Switchback Running Boards.. update..:)

For all the switchback owners out there..

Slippery running boards Suck..

They come factory with a Smooth ridge on the top of the running board

even with shoes on my feet will slide to the bottom of the running board..

So my solution to the problem.!! Got out the Die grinder!

Spacing around a 1/2 Cut 1/2 Cut the cut is two blade cuts..

NO foot movment..


FYI.. Just don't cut too DEEP! You will have a coolant leak!

I didn't do it But i can see guys trying to rush this..

Yeah its weird cuz my 06 switchback already had it too. I find it funny that they would go smooth for 07 and then change back again...

The Edge switchbacks were that way too. I looked at purchasing one in '05 but didn't like that idea. I had thought about cutting the ribs like you did, but didn't know how easy it would be to make them look as good as you did.

Working Great even on the icier days.. free of ice with one kick!
