07' setup vs. 08' setup?

What do you guys think about the 07' setup vs. 08' setup?

62g
Team - Green 140-330 (prim.)
Team - Black/Red 155-222 (sec.)

VS.

62g
Team - Black/Green 140-220 (prim.)
Team - Red/Black 140-240 (sec.)

I'm thinking of replacing the 07' setup on my rmk600, 144" with the 08' setup..

Any thoughts?

SHould have simialr results from either settup....I assume the 140/220 is a typo and you mean 140/320?
The first settup may be a little snappier off the bottom but they are so close it's tough to say what the difference would be.

Assuming the top list is the '07 list and it's what you have installed, I would leave everything alone and put a 64/42 helix in that bad boy. That's the recommended helix for your sled at your elevation. If your running a 56/42 @ under 3000 feet it flat aint gettin the job done. I'm gonna take a stab and say you have a weak hole shot but once on the tach the sled pulls real good? The 64 will give you a much harder launch. IMHO you need the helix otherwise just as WinterBrew stated there's really not much difference between the two.

Actually the last setup is the 07' setup.

Hmm.. anyone knows a place to by that helix, who also sends to norway?
Here, I have to pay 346$ for that frickin' thing.. :S

Where do you have your helix information from?

And why don't they come stock with that helix?

And, for last, are you sure thats the right helix I should use?
Another guy I talked to said 58/42.36 you are saying 64/42/.36... ?

btw, Team doesn't have 64/42/.36, only 64/42/.46 what's the difference /.36 vs /.46 ?

I think I also have one of these laying around:
54-44/54-46
56-44/56-46

Bought that f... EPI kit that polaris have, I sucked more than our stock 550F ... :(

owner's manual

If you bought the sled new it came with an owners manual AND a supplement sheet. The supplement sheet has the setups listed by elevation for jetting AND clutching. Polaris factory sends ALL RMKs out of the factory setup for 6-9000 (or some higher elevation combo ie. 8-10000) feet and relies on the dealerships to set the clutching and jetting up for the customers needs. A lot of dealers will simply hand over the machine as is. but some will actually make the correct changes. Almost always they have to rejet and change weights BUT probably not the helix. I would look to the swapmeet here or contact the vendors here via email or PM and purchase a helix that way.
The difference in the .36 and .46 is the length the helix is cut at 64 degrees. The 64/42.46 is the one I was talking about. It will pull @ 64 for almost half an inch and pull hard, then it will shift to 42 and keep on truckin.
OK so you have the lower list in the sled at this time, correct? I think it's better and will benefit the helix swap at your elevation. Just MHO

I can't see any change in helix on my supplement sheet. It says 56/42/.36 on all elevations... ?

If your talking about the helix, no.. I have the 56/42/.36 in now.. I think the EPI helix was to steep and couldn't make my sled pull hard from bottom, so i changed back.

I currently have this setup for my clutches:

helix: 56/42/.36
Weights: 10-62g
Prim.spring: EPI - Maroon
Sec.spring: Team - Red/black? (stock for the 07" 144" sleds.)
