07 Rev Blues..again.. all RPM no Power only, and bog issues.

Not 100% sure what is going on here, my first instinct is that I'm running to rich @ FT, but I'm getting proper RPMs, and my partial throttle is snappy and responsive however my full throttle under load (in the deep / semi-steep) is just gutless.

I never thought it was a big deal just to much snow, until I road my friends 600 and it felt like it had more/equal power then my 800!!! when pinned.

Ontop of that I'm having all sorts of weird bog issues, side hilling for more then a 5-10 seconds to cause the sled to appear to just bog out. Once I level up the sled it runs fine after a few "revs"

The sled has just under 1800miles, a trygstad head. I've gone threw my clutches, my carbs - my needle is shimmed 15th/20 and my pilot is 20 as per trygstad recommendation, and my main is stock (470) I'm riding at 8000+ Feet. The RAVE valves are good, dpw is working, oilier is adjusted to 16.5mm, I have not done a compression test yet it's next on the list, however it seems to have good solid power/torque under most conditions, but say you are charging up a hill full throttle at first it will pick up really feel great but it just dies off really fast, holds rpm just no power behind it.

Thoughts?

If your dpm selanoid is working.Check your ecm connector for moisture.I had a similar problem and found water in connector ,dried it out ,dielectric greased and its like a different sled now. good luck!

Ya, did that as well it helped get all the low/mid power back. It was really corroded, I cleared it out with contact cleaner, and repacked it.

My sled holds RPm rock steady and never ever bogs ,Today I blew a belt and tossed on the spare.XS803 and rpms were horrible. Had to click from 2 to 4 and still at end of climb fell off.Point is bad belt choice will cause problems. As soft compound belts heat up they change friction. The 07 Loves the 288 medium compound belt.Rock steady, address the obvious

Hmm I'm still using some 166 belts. I've got an "orange" one on now. I've used nothing else yet. I do have a 383 but it's my "spare". RPMS are still good just not "omph" I always noticed today I was down to less then a 1/4 a tank. I only road like 25-30 miles yesterday although alot of them were FT in 3'-4+' of fresh snow. I also used up more then half my oil reservoir.

There are not good reports on the 383.Try the 288 however keep in mine takes 20 miles to seat the belt.RPM,s will be low till this occurs ,Then its game on
