'07 orange hood different from '08?

Babbitts online microfiche has different part numbers on '07 and '08 orange hoods. Anyone know of the difference? Is the color slightly different?

I think the only difference would be the hole for the gauge. From 07-08 the gauges changed from the big one only to having the small one on std sleds and the deluxe gauge on sno pro sleds. The orange 08 hood would have the small round stock gauge, the 07 would probably have a bigger hole.

That's all I think should be different.

I looked at the hoods and the gauges on those years and 05snopro440 is correct it looks like the only difference is the gauges.

Hmmmm........ I don't recall why, but for some reason, I thought that, too. Anyone know for sure one way or the other? I haven't ordered one yet and would like to find out for sure before I do.
