My last ride I was smelling hot. I checked the clutches and they were very hot and as the day progressed I was not getting full revs maybe 7500 or less. I don't know the mileage on the belt it must be well over 200. It sits just barely above the sheves on the secondary. The primary clutch is brand new last year, but I used the old spring could it have worn out and be letting the weights come in harder? The driven clutch has new rollers everything else original. Also I have been loosing coolant found that the throttle body coolant hose had a deep rub spot and had holes in it. Cut it off male barb new bit of hose no leak that I can see but this last ride still seamed to lose about 2 or three inches out of the reservoir. Approx 200 miles on top end when watching coolant levels on the first few rides it did not change. When I had exhaust off to fix coolant hose and do reeds while I was in there, there was very black looking oil and fuel mixture in the exhaust port but on. The walls of the cylinders it looked kinda milky could it be head or base gasket failure? Or is the system just getting some air out of it from throttle body hoses being off? Thanks in advance for the help.
