07-m8 Lights etc help

Have a 07 m8, started the other morning after riding the day before. No headlights, no hand/thumbwarmers. Wrench light on display on constant, not flashing at all. No reverse. Do have tail light and brake light. Kill switch works but at time is intermitant. Took control with hand\thumb warmer and dimmer apart, nothing unhooked. The speedo and tack work fine and the lights in it work fine.
Sled runs great. Any one have any ideas?

Sounds like a shorted wire harness. Since the headlights are out, check the main big harness where it comes out of the ECU and snakes under the exhaust pipe heat shield.

Bad DC regulator on the CCU/Voltage Regulator. Pull the pin out of the CCU that goes to the headlights, start the sled and check for 12+ VDC with a meter. If no voltage replace the CCU.
