oil on trailer under the ACT but I cannot find any leak. 900 miles on sled. Any ideas. Are there seals to replace?

hm

check the shaft, pull the secondary off and run your finger around the bearing/shaft see if its leaking out of there.

if its on the trailer and not in the belly pan probably output shaft seal on DD. If its on input shaft behind secondary than it could be inout seal or just a little leaking out the bolt vent if you had the sled on its side at all. you may as well pull the case and do all the seals BDX makes a full seal kit. May as well do bearings while you are in there, and if you have a local shop that can machine down the bearing seat area you can up-grade to the wider bearing. It has been said that the venting through the bolt that holds secondary on is inadequate and can cause pressure that blows seals, and guys have drilled and tapped a barbed fitting in the top of the case for a vent hose to releive this problem. good luck!

and i almost foregot, on an 07' if your case has not been serviced yet it probalbly still has the RTV seal and no gasket. The rtv seal has been know to go due to minor flex in the case. they make a specific 07' gasket kit that you can install with two shims to go in tyhe bearing pockets to accounf for the added thickness of the gasket. good catch on the leaking fluid they don't hold enought to last long if its leaking!

Look at the first item on the page i linked above^^ its a BDX tool kit for installing seals and doing bearings.
