I just bought a 07 M1000 and im wondering what guys out there r doing for clutching? the guy i bought it off is running a 38 degree helix and 80 grams in the primary, and he said it was still over revving at 8000+ feet. Something there sounds a little wrong...the sled is stock motor and gearing wise. i ride mostly 4500-8500 feet...

the helix is a 36/34p, Adjustable style helix with stock orange spring. i was getting 7700rpm on long pulls.
what weights r u running in the primary?
they are the 80 gram weights. I was running a rkt clutch kit, 38/36p with the 80gram weights. If you want i can trade you helixes. I have a stock straight 36.
