TESTING FOR A BAD T.P.S.

It sounds like it.

Follow the latter part of the instructions under INCREASING IQ at the top of the IQ section, meaning skip past the part about fully closing the throttle blades, just connect an analog (needle style) volt-meter up,with the tester you built or borrowed, you should be at less than 1 volt at idle, and then as you increase throttle, the voltage should G-R-A-D-U-A-L-L-Y- increase in synch with throttle movement.

If not, the T.P.S. is bad.

Don't worry about the accurate digital volt-meter for right now, as you can do that later after you've diagnosed this problem

Hope this helps

Easiest check before you start with anything else: Is the adjuster nut on the wire loose? Follow the throttle wire down to just above the console, there you'll find a rubber seal where the adjuster is located. You can adjust this without removing the rubber, and if the nut has winded itself all the way down you'll experience the problem you described...it happened to me:face-icon-small-hap

I am preatty sure it had a gold finger on it befor I bought it,as it dosent anymore he must of took it off,as it was running,i would wiggle the throttel lever up and down and it would dies also, tried adjusting the nut with no diffrence it still dies when you give it alittel throttel.it has a bolt in the throttel instead of the factory pin also.

Any updates on this? Lots of similar issues with others right now that are looking for more help
