07 crank issues? ways to fix??

Looking to get a rev. Want a 07 but with a bad engine i dont want to replace the crank every 1000 miles. is there any ways to fix it permanetly? if so how much $??

If the sled has been in to fix the bottom end under warranty it should have the 08 crank in it now. If it does that has fixed the problems with it.

buddy has a 07 rev in the swapmeet that has the 09 crank in it it runs dang good. has a new long block in it. put in in january. its under custom 07 rev. by ghost rider.

the problem with the 07 motor is the crank cases you either have to get the crank cases line bored or 08 crank case

If the 07 motor was under warranty and was done by a dealer late season of winter 07-08 or after it will have the 08 crank and case.

i would just get an 08 reman motor i dont know how much it costs in the states but in canada your looking at about 2700 or i do believe you can get the 07 reman motor with the crank case line bored for 2100 from a dealer not sure how much in the states

I was told $1900 is what a new short block is. ours are still under warranty so havent had to fork out the cash to know for sure.

I just bought a shortblock here in Idaho for 2185.00 I have a solid case and crank for sale, would take 1000.00
