07 600 cfi problems

I have an 07 600 cfi and took it out for a spin last night. It wouldn't pull full rpm and when I switched it to reverse it stalled out and will not start. I have spark and fuel pressure. I haven't started testing anything yet but I wanted some advice on where to start or what you all think could be the issue. Thankyou

Just for an update, I tested the ohms in the stator, injectors, coils and everything was reading the correct ohms. I also checked for voltage coming from the stator to the ecu and if power was going to the injectors, i had voltage tho im not sure what it should be. What else should I check? Is there anyway to test the ecu to tell if that is fried?

Well if was just running before you pushed the rev. button..

Throttle cable / TPS setting

Start with making sure there is slack in the cable..

If so. Tps.. might be off a bit..

I am seeing the 600 likes the idle screw bumped up about a turn..

It should idle at 2150 when u start cold. about 30- 45 sec... then come back down to around 1750 - 1800 rpms.

Use any Injector cleaner lately?

Found the issue, I had replaced the stator and failed to use locktite. The bolts vibrated loose and the stator cocked sideways and rubbed on the flywheel. Replaced the stator and cleaned out the metal filings and locktited the new stator in. The tps was out of adjustment so I set that and it runs now. Also the gas was fresh. Only issue now is that once it warms up it won't pull 8,000, it stutters and can't hold it but itll do 7000 no problem.

I had an 08 carb 600 that would only pull about 7000rpm found out the exhaust donut off the manifold had slipped side way and blocking part of the exhast. It's easy to overlook something like that when you have had to pull it off multiple times

Found that one of my power valves was unbolted inside and non-functioning. Cleaned both power valves and replaced the bad paddle. (lucky i have a parts sled). Now the sled rips and will pull 8000 rpm easily also it has way better top end power. Thank-you to everyone for the help so far!

I am not sure what weights i have in the clutch. What is a good weight/ spring combination to run in this sled? I have a 136" track in it and do mostly off trail riding.

Im riding around sea level so I think my clutches are good.
New development with the electrical now tho. Its been running really nice till the other day when I just fired it up after sitting for about 10 minutes and was heading up a hill when my display blinked and went thru start up routine then the engine bogged and died. It won't restart now. I can put fuel in the cylinders and itll fire up and work till the fuel is burned up then itll shut down. Planning on ohming the stator tonight and then put on my spare vr and capacitor. Am I looking at the right stuff or is there an underlying problem that im missing?

I ohmed the stator and the coil that is responsible for power for the injectors is open line. This is the third stator for this sled. I had previously added the extra grounds. I checked the wiring harness for chaffed areas but everything looks good. Is there another component that could be failing and causing my stator to burn up?

no i havent. it seemed to be alright when i tested the output. Guess i should have done that right off the bat when i blew the first one. Should i replace the capacitor as well while Im at it?
