06 to 09 head swap

ALL our heads are interchangeable as of 2007.. If it will fit the "R" engine the head shell will have an "R" machined in the top.. If there is no "R" machined in the shell.. then it will not fit the "R" engine

No, ALL RKT Heads are interchangeable as of 2007.. So, a 2007 "R" head will fit a 2003 REV..

A 2003 RKT Rev head will also fit the "R" engine, if and only if, there is an "R" machined in the head shell.

Our head works with many aftermarket cans.. I recommend the stock can because it works the best and has no inconsistencies associated with it..

There are some aftermarket cans that flat out lose power and are to restrictive and cause too much heat to be returned to the engine.. There are others that work OK and some that will only have problems on a log pull.

When you add the head it adds some good power gains.. With power gains comes more internal engine heat/energy.. If you have a restrictive can then this added heat can not be properly exhausted and this can cause some issues.. You can add a head that makes much less HP and then you wil have no issues.. but you will also have less power..

It is impossible and impractical for us to check / test every can out there. We have tested many but not all..
