I have a 06 rev 151 with 2700 miles i know i am playing with fire on the miles but i cant stand the vibration of the xp wifes got a dragon kinda like it but really like the rev. Should i rebuild the motor this off season really would like a longer track 159 or 163 but i dont climb alot love to boondock so a 163 might be too long. Any body know of a 06 159 red x for sale might be the best option

i've never owned an 06, only an 04 and 05. but i've been told buy a couple of guys that out of the 4 years they made the rev that the 06 was by far the most dependable. if you like it i'd hang on to it.

been doing some research on some new pistons etc and all the folks building them are stating you need heads too and saying there is little tinkering! lmao this is not true so i guess some new pistons and pull the rope i dont want to tinker just pull the rope. love the sled anybody know of a 06 x red 159 low miles forsale? lol

WHY sell your 151 and get the same thing in a 159?????
Best thing you can do is slap a 155x16x2.5 camo extreme and get 2.86 tooth drivers. It'll be a whole new sled and the 159 won't even be in the same league.
If you don't want to change drivers then just find a used 159 or get one from TracksUSA.

Add an SHR840 and no stocker will touch you.

I was thinking of an xp next year but my 06 rocks. It has 2000km and has never let me down. I fear i may regret getting rid of it. I don't need to have 2 sleds. It just goes everywhere my buddies go with their 08 dragon 163, 07 m1000 162 (200hp).

I would rebuild, and then extend to a 154 not the 159, about the best thing on the XP is the 154 track length.

I kept my 06X 159 and I still love to ride it, and the wife prefers to ride it compared to the XP. I have 3800 miles on original bottom end, two sets of warrantied rings and pistons got me this far. I keep it maintained and have never had any single other issue. Keep it.
