If you weigh 260 do you need to gear down your rev for powder and climbing? Last year it wasn't able to hold the revs or have the burst of power for powder busting. Unless I adjusted the clickers, but then the revs were to high. Couldn't find a happy medium. I know when I road Yamaha we geared it down and had no problems.

As was with your Yamaha, there are changes that can be made to bring the snap back to your machine.

As you stated, gearing down is a good idea. I geared down by jumping up one tooth on my bottom gear.

You will also find that a properly setup clutch will make a world of difference in the deep stuff.

If I were you, I would fix up both these issues as soon as you can. You will be amazed with the difference you see. It's like you woke the thing up, and went from an Elan to an 800.
