06 M7 ecu @ circle

Need an ecu for an 06 m7. Need the ecu with a circle on it. My ecu will take a program but the sled will not run on this ecu. We tried another ecu and it ran fine. Lost a stator on my last ride. Think maybe it sent a higher wattage to the ecu or something? Maybe somebody on here knows why? No fried or burnt marks visible. Please pm me if you have or know anything Thx in advance

I have a brand new ecu never hooked up!

Just by chance were you running the sled without a hood or headlight?

I fried a ECU also and there were no signs of anything wrong other than it ran like crap! tore the motor down replaced pistons and still ran like crap! expensive way to learn, but the pistons did show some signs of wear.

No, stator went and sent an electrical surge thru the ecu.......I think. I have a 100watt resister for when the hood is off. Ialso run a fuel controller and a digitron. These alone pull enough power without the resistor.
