You don't need a special chaincase for a drop an roll on an Apex, you can use the stock one.I Dropped and rolled my Rx1 and IMO it makes the nose to heavy on the Deltabox chassis. I'd never do it again. Great for point and shoot, climbs like a basterd but crap for boondockin, makes the sled push really bad. I'm not sure if a 3" will fit with a d&r using the stock case but I think it does if that's what you are after.
