06 900 fusion fouling plugs, at low speeds.

Any ideas, I have a 06 900 fusion, having problem with fouling plugs when doing a lot of low speed riding especially during snow storms, I have added a spring to the oil pump to assist with returning the oil pump to the normal mark, so I'm sure the cable is not sticking.
 
You better double check it, because those cables can just seize up without warning.

Assuming this is not the case, and the oil pump arm is working properly.......
What do the plugs look like when they foul?
Does the engine run good other than the fouling?
No coolant is going missing from the reservoir?
Is the oil level going down to 1/2 tank more quickly than normal when you fill it?

It maybe a TPS setting problem! My sled did the same thing when boondocking or on warm days and when its snowing . I think the reduced airflow under the hood warms the intake air on top of the fact it may be running pig rich due to the TPS misadjustment is a perfect recipe for fouled plugs. Does reverse ever give you trouble? does it idle so low that the MF display flashes on and off?

This is what mine did and a simple adjustment was all it needed! I have only seen one TPS sensor that was adjusted correctly from the factory on 5 different sleds This or some other TPS issue are the cause of most simple runability problems like this.
 
Make sure everything is sealed up tight and not sucking in snow dust.

DiscoDan, I have had both cylinders foul the plugs, and when changing the plugs, of course they are black and wet, other then fouling the plugs, engine runs great, have no coolant loss, I will fill my oil tank back to full to see how much I have used during the Blizzard storm the other night.

Polzinhunter, I have checked the TPS setting back last fall, and it was within spec., I have no problem using reverse, and it does idle around 1600 rpm's.

I have around 3200 miles on the sled and this is the first problem I have had after adding the torque stops, repairing busted side engine mount bolts.

The reason I ask about your oil consumption, is if the center crank seals are leaking it will quickly suck your oil level down to almost half and introduce a whole bunch of oil into your engine over a short period of time.

My 06 Switchback did the same thing... I reset the tps and changed the stator ( do to a bad code) no more fouled plugs

I refilled the oil and it used just under a one pint after running about 49 miles, so I don't believe that is excessive, I rode 20 miles this morning and fouled no plugs. I did re-seal all the seams and holes on the air box yesterday.
 
DiscoDan, how would it relate if the coolant level had gone down with a plug fouling?? and how much of a change in level are you talking here....not too sure how this all links together.
