I am familier to most all of the 900 posts and this issue is puzzeling to me. 2006 755 RMK. Sled ran great yesterday with only some minor hesitation at mid range but ran awesome wot. Hestitation seemed like a plug fouling and then the engine would come back strong by feathering the throttle. Today I installed new plugs and it would only run on the mag side cylinder. The pto side has good spark by seems to be super rich and only on the pto side. Switched plugs again and still would not run on both cylinders. I understand the tps reset procedure and will start with that but the puzzeling thing is why only rich one one cylinder? And why spark when the plug is out but no fire when it is in? Could an injector be stuck? I did just go through the motor and install new crank and top end less than 100 miles ago. Maybe it is a pinched wire or something. Any one else experienced any thing like this?

Hmmm, sounds kinda like you got a stuck injector which is flooding you out on that side. Try and check that you don't have any pinched wires on that side. TPS would control the flow to both injectors, so it's doubtful that TPS would be causing a problem with one cylinder.

Hard to say, I dont really have much experience with this, hopefully someone else can chime in here.

very hard to say..

my first thought would be stuck injector..but if you just rebuilt the motor, when you re-installed the injectors..did you drop one, or force it back in..

the plug wont fire cause the air/fuel ratio is too rich..is there alot of fuel in the crank case? there is a drain plug under the motor if you can get to it?? (under each cylinder)

i have no idea if a pinched wire would sause that if they shorted..

do you run an aftermarket control box?

have you even tried resetting the TPS just incase...stranger things have happened..

Mag Side

I also have the 755. Mine only fouls on the MAG side. Go figure. Usually only happens on long and slow downhills. Seems likes once it fouls just a little bit, it won't fire again on that cylinder and you have to change the plug. Very strange- on other sleds seem like when you foul a plug you can get it to spark a little by feathering the throttle but runs like crap. This machine, it's just plain dead. I've tried new plug caps and that does seem to help. I'm also gonna try the NGK BPR9ES plugs this year. Supposed to run a tad hotter. Keep us posted.

Thanks for all the info guys. The exhuast bellows are good and I do not run an after market controller. I have had good luck in the past with the champion plugs over the NGK plugs. Any one know if the dealers electric wrench will say if all four injectors are functioning properly? Been busy with work so have not had a chance to mess with this thing yet.
