06 700 really high idle and intake

I took the tb off set it correctly again I did it right the a few times just typed it wrong and could not remember what I did . As far as the wiring, I taped the wire up checked with meter and it is good. Looked at the butterfly blades close all the way. Put the primary on.None of it made a difference the thing idles at 2500-2700. Fire it it goes to 2200 then climbs on up on it own. When I rev it a little it will go all the way to 6500 or so on its own say for a little while and then come back down. It even boged out and died a couple times when I would rev it slightly and back fire when I fired it up. Unhook the tps and the idle is like 1200 but it does not climb on it on and goes through the rpm smooth
I would do as 05900 said. Follow that harness all the way back to the ecu. Pull the seat, pull the tank and that should give you lots of room. I had my harness come in contact with my jackshaft and rub through. Jackshaft also got my DET sensor as well. Jackshaft + wiring = one angry azz cookie monster

I traced the wire back it was all good. Took it to Vickery motorsports here in town. He uses digital wrench and set it. It is way out of spec but runs great. Base voltage is at .685 and the idle voltage is at .977. Took him about 2.5 hours to get it he said. He also noted that he has had the problem with these big block engines before. He just kept moving the tps and idle until it ran right. Gave me a print out of the digital wrench and he checked it with out. Gave me his specs in case I need to reset it, best $100 I gave spent in a while.
