I have read where the 600's have a "rev limiter"...is that true?

How does the sled react when it is hit.

My daughter's '06 600 will hesitate @ about 7k +/- when you are going down the trail and hit full throttle....it is ok after that and then it goes on up to 8200 or so.....other than that it runs great

Where are the 600's suppose to be set for max rpm?

THANK FOR YOUR INPUT

I know EXACTLY what you mean. My 07 600 summit does the same thing. I don't know why it does it but I would like to. I have just gotten use to it. Runs great otherwise.

It's a common thing with the 600 sdi....Some of them hit this dead spot after a hard bump or landing. We have two of them and they both occasionally do it while WFO under light load (read: topped out or going downhill).

I have ours set up at 7900 rpm (on the tach).
