06 600 rmk - When rpm's reach about 7000, the temp light blinks on and cuts the motor out. Back out of the throttle, it resets and will let you go as long as you don't go over 7000 rpm's. Coolant level is ok. I thought if might be a stuck thermostat so I removed the thermostat. This did not help. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the info. What would happen if I unplug the temp sensor? Would I be able to tell if that was the problem or would the sled not run?

i had an 04 600 rmk and it did the exact same thing. 7000 rpm max.

Turned out to be the wiring harness, specifically the part that dealt with the temp sensor. The dealer replaced the entire harness. It was warranty, Thank God.

I might have to try the wiring harness. I put a new temp sensor on last night and that didn't fix it.

Before I get carried away and buy a new wiring harness, is there any possibility that the impellor in the water pump is not turning? I'm positive I have the air out of the system and I have installed a new temp sensor. Runs good for about 5 minutes, them temp light starts blinking and motor cuts out. I'm confused. Any troubleshooting ideas?

The left foot rail is getting hot and melting the ice off. The rear heat exchanger is warm to the touch. The right root rail is cold and iced up. There is evidently no circulation. I've tried every trick in the book to burp the coolant. I'm convinced there is no air in the system. Has anyone ever had an impellor break? I don't want to tear it apart if I'm not relatively sure that's the problem.
