05 summit rev x digital problem

Digital readout on tach guage is fine while idling, but as i rev it up the digital readout chages to read -136-. As the idle drops slighlty the number that it reads also drops and fluctuates around? Did this at the end of last year and kind of forgot about it until i was servicing it just now. seem to have no issues with running? any ideas or reason for concern?

i'm tuning a friends 04 rev right now and i am seeing the same thing this guy was. anyone know what this means, i assume it is a code
