05 summit 600 h o engine issues

ok so heres my problem, took the sled of for its first ride. it started the first time well and was a little boggy when you get in to the throtle but nothing to unusal. brought it back to start playing with the kids on it, took it out and we shut it down for maybe 5 min. went to start it back up and nothing. plugs were wet and she had spark but still nothing. finally got it to start by holding the throtle wide open, at idle she would be fine but when you give it any gas she wouldnt want to stay running. it was kinda like it was flooding out but as soon as you let of it would idle fine. hold it wide open and it would go for 2 or 3 seconds then want to die. any ideas?

cleaned them the 2 nights be for and they were spotless but thats were i was going to start first just wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas. it wouldnt suprise me if i had spme bad gas in the tank. the sled hasnt been out in 2 yrs and i thought i had all the gas out but when i filled it up it seems that i still had gas in it.

Dont forget to check the carb boots at the bolt flange, I had to replace them on my 05 600 and 05 800. They delaminate and cause run issues.Pull them off and inspect.:beer;

i didnt pull them off this year as i have in the past but that was another thing i was thinking about doing. i looked at where the cabs go into and other than they needed cleaned of from setting for so long i didnt see any craks on them. it was funny because when i got it off the trailer and took off it was running good and i brought it back and shut it down so we could tie tubes to the back of it for the kids and it started in one pull just like normal. the we went out for a bit and shut it down and then it wouldnt start with out being held wide open.

my 05 600 did this and it ended up being the dpm box. mine was done under waranty so i'm not really sure how they tested it to find out.

Check your tether. Or take it to the dealer and have him check it.
I've experienced this same thing with the wrong tether on the sled. It will idle great, but when you hit the gas it won't even move itself -- won't let the RPMs come up.

Might not be the fix but is a possibility.
