The SLP #s are pretty close to where you will end up. If you do much trail riding to get to where you play you will want to set a different map for that cuz they get real hot in the middle. Can't remember for sure but I think I was up to around 8 in the mid range to keep the egts around 1100 goin down the road. Don't get discouraged they rip when they are right. Get it clutched right and you will love em. The only draw back I have with em is the heat, everything under the hood gets heat soaked after about the third hard pull, so when things start boggin and you think its fuel just pop the hood for a few and get things cooled off.

so I got to ride my sled it rips! seems to need a seperate, leaner fuel map for the highest elevations where i was at, around 11500-12000', and richer at the parking lot around 9000'. Speaking of clutching I am running the stock arctic cat setup for 9000' and above, but not sure if the light weights are cutting it. I was able to turn some pretty high Rs like 8350 max is this too high for my twin slp setup, Anyone else with this setup, ride at these elevations? Any clutching advise will be greatly appreciated as i am sort of new to clutching.thx

What clutching are you running now, springs, weights, cam? I ride much lower elevation than you and I was having a hard time getting rpms up high enough. Running weights with a different profile helped the most, I was running some dakota 66g and they seemed to be the ticket. I ran an SLP black pink (120/340) in the primary and a team black orange with a straight 36 in the secondary. I think the secondary had too stiff of a finish, I was only pulling 74-7600 on a hill but I was getting about 46mph track speed.

Its all the stock cat stuff i think the weights are 65g with the yellow primary white secondary spring stock 36 helix my speedos broken so cant see track speed but was around 8200 rpm when climbing is this too high i read that with twins max rpms will be higher thx

With thw SLPs that's right in the ball park, you'll want to shoot for 8000 to 8200. You could try slp's clutching recomendations, the secondary they leave stock but the primary uses their weights which have a different profile and their spring which is stiffer. For the secondary you could try the cat orange spring with a shift assist bearing. But if you're hitting your target rpms and beating all your buddys then why mess with a good thing.
