Sorry for the dumb question but im having a brain fart. Will 06, 07 and 08 A-arms fit the 05's?

Thanks
Grant

yes you can put arms from 05-10 the dragon arms are diff. because of the sway bar mount but the will still work if you don't run the stock sway bar.

the only advantage would be the dragon arms if you have the 09 plastic kit installed and want to run the 09 sway bar. then the arms would have the correct mount for the sway bar links.
and actually i think the 05-06 arms are a little stronger in my opinion.

Guido...If you are reading...

Aren't the 05 top arms slightly shorter or longer???? I sincerly can remember... but thought that you went into this in detail somewhere... they work...

I know that HRP has different mounting schemes for the tie rods on their spindles when installed on 2005 vs. 2006 A-arms.

I Think he is on a plane to Florida right now but it seems to me they are different. I don't have an 06 arm to compare it to but here is the 05.

I think the different bushing placement on the Holz spindles probably is because of the different configuration of the steering post on the 05.

The upper and lower A-arms have part numbers that are only for that year. A change in the lower A-arm design would also affect the position needed for the Holz tie-rod bushing in order make the tie-rods run at the same angles as designed to minimize bump steer.

Here is the upper arm for an 06. You can see a slight change in design. Both sides have a bend in them where on the 05 one side of the arm is a straight pipe.

I have searched all over and here is what I can find. In 06 they changed the angles of the arms to make the steering better.

Supposedly 06 and newer arms are all the same up till the change in the swaybar on the newest ones.

So, any arms can be put on any of the sleds, but 05 spindles can not be used with anything but 05 arms.

Made it Panama city..have cell reception so I'm good lol..

I do remember dealing with this Bette.. it don't remember what I came up with..

Ill do some looking and measurements when I get back in over a week..

To be safe..if u get new arms..that are not 05..switch the top as well..any after 06 for sure are the same..other then assualts and fusions which are wider...

Ill post back in a bit.
