05 975 big bore

The sled on the right? My 975 isn't the easiest to pull either. Are you running torco in your 975?

50/50 race fuel at the moment with 2 oz oil added per gallon.

is that an iqr hood? how much are you paying for those buckets? is that 110?

its an IQR mod hood made to fit the IQ sleds...my good buddy Bill from Mountain Fit Hoods make them, i have had one for about 3 yrs..heres my 975 i just finished this weekend...with that hood and the 09 front end conversion.

BTW..

i have changed my mind on the Torco...i am going with 70/30 mix of Avgas 100LL and 91 pump fuel..put it this way...using Agvas, you are CERTAIN you are gettng what you paid for, and you KNOW you will have great performance out of the fuel...any local airport has a private hanger or section that will sell you avgas...and its acutally cheaper to use Avgas over torco since you dont need to get so much pump fuel to use it...

(see my 05 rmk 900 build below for more pics and details)

I know i'm coming in this a bit late but i had my heads redone by RKTech. I can run premium down to about 7000 foot. Going to the RKTech heads and pump gas I only lost 100 rpm. I thought that was pretty good after reducing the compression ratio that much to allow pump gas.

Just a little clutch weight change and I am right back at the target RPM.
