Looking at a 2005 Polaris 700 RMK with 2500 miles to purchase.The sled looks and mechanicaly runs sweet. Previous owner maintaned and took very good care of this sled. . Has a SLP pipe,V force reeds. ? is how Reliable are these motors. Thanks

Super reliable, mine has been a pull and go sled, no problems, carb tuning is on the safe side to keep it that way. The 700 has plenty of power without all the crank issues of the 800s. Check the water pump belt, exhaust bellows and clean the VES, adjust the oil pump a little past the marks for more flow and ride it like you stole it!

Last of a true breed...

Yep...100% agreement...check as stated above, and you shouldn't even have to worry about the top end for a few thousand more miles....a true model of dependability! Now if we they could have kept up that record through the rest of the 2005->20?? 8/900 models they would be ruling sales figures for certain!
