Looking at a low mile 2005 1000 himark x. What are peoples thoughts about them. Did they have a tone of issues, or are they extremely heavy, bad cracnk or burn down issues ect. What are some of the REQUIRED updated or improvements.

The 1000s do have flaws but there is a ton of information about how to fix them. Set up right an 800 won't touch it! I have a rev 800 and a 1000 both 06 and after a little work the 1000 does everything better. If you can get it for cheap get it and search the what upgrades to do.
If you want a pull and go sled then don't get it, If you like working on sleds and don't mind getting towed out once in awhile then go for it. They do run good once set up right but if none of the updates are done then there is probally a reason it has low miles on it. JMO
