04' Summit riser kit.

I was just wondering if anyone has put a riser kit on their 04 summit with the stock handle bars. I really want to do it, but am worried about stress on the stem. Thank you

stock?, you mean the non-X bars?

I had 3.5" Rox risers on mine. With the large Adrenaline bars, 3.5 was the max I could get. You'll have to reroute the brake line to a more direct route but it all worked well.

I also put a 3.5 or 4 inch on mine with the stock bars and it works great. I would never go back to stock height.

I am about to install a riser on my 04 X which has an OEM 7" riser from the steering stem. Are you saying you increased the height an additional 3.5/4" without going to brake and throttle extensions?

I'm trying to get to 11" overall.

Had an 04 X and added 3.5" rox to it. Had to reroute brake and throttle and cut a couple of zap straps but worked great.

Is there any concern about breaking the steering post or having too much stress on it? Or is it just a fluk accident I saw?
