04 skidoo starts sometimes???

My buddy bought a 04 skidoo 800 with a 06 engine , we took it for a ride one day ran great. Next day we pull it off the trailer and it won't start? It has no spark? He drives it to the dealer then it starts? Has anyone else had this problem? Or haveany ideas ? We looked at all the wiring it looks fine?

Make sure your teather conection is clean. Also, you could have a kill switch short. Next time is wont start try unpluging the kill switch. (start with the easy stuff)

Tried unplugging kill switch still wouldnt start, but he did unplug the tether cord and it rained on it the next day? That could have been the problem.

Could it be the mpem box?

in 04 ecms had problems with the big plug . one of the wires would not contact some times and would not always start. then it would. seen it alot in 04

Also in 06 they mounted the mpem in front of the motor and water would run down wiring and ruin connection the the box. It might not have been the mpem, but it was similar and I know gave people fits.
