04 800 seized up...need crank advice

T
So I thought my new 2004 800 was fixed, and that the guy who sold it to me was imagining things. I was wrong. Rode about 10 miles and the thing seized up. Jugs and pistons look great, but haven't pulled out the motor. It's gotta be a bearing in the crank. So I'm looking for advice on best place to go...in washington...or send my crank to to be rebuilt. Or a place to just buy a good manufactured crank.

If anyone could give me suggestions that would be great.
Thanks

Great turn around time just send them your bottom end and they take care of the rest. Call them they are happy to help.

Dave and his crew in Rochester, Mn. can hook you up with a very reliable, fast, stock, engine. Basically, they do it all very well and reasonably priced.

If you are doing the work yourself, a reman crank is the most cost effective way. Either from BRP's rebuild program or a shop. If you are paying someone to do the work, a shortblock from Doo is the best way to go. Ends up costing about 3-400 more than a full rebuild(rebuild your motor from the ground up) with labour. But you do get a years warranty out of the motor if installed at a dealership.
