Here is the story I rode the sled last year ran great no problems, started it up this summer to move no problem. noticed that the carb boots were rotten and cracked so replaced them 4 weeks back started up ran for 10 -15 minutes ran great parked it and, last week tried to start would not go acted like no fuel or spark. got it in the garage thawed out and got started but would only run for 20 secs or so then back fire and die, but would start right back up. so got it back in the garage thinking i had bad fuel so pulled tank and clean everything got some new 91 octane gas with a little fuel additive to clean the rest of the system and installed new spark plugs. Was getting fuel but no spark, so disconnected DESS tether and jumped at harness side got GREAT spark but would only start for 2 seconds and die, over and over 2 seconds and die. Question. is the tether actullay programmed on this sled? it is NOT an SDI model. By bypassing the tether should it not stay running? Or am I barking up the wrong tree. I am at my wits end thinking I might have to bring to dealer. any help would be appeciated. I have the shop manual but not sure what the next step to be is. I have searched the web site but can not find the same issue unless someone can post me the link that would be awesome. and it has good compression and fuel supply
